The Stone of Tizoc
- Depicts carvings of the victories of Tizoc, the seventh ruler of the Aztecs.
- 15 scenes engraved on the stone show 2 figures: one of Tizoc, and the other being the leader of the defeated enemy
- 2.65m in diameter
- Created in the 1480s, discovered in 1791
- The stone may have been used for means of sacrifice
- Shows what the Aztecs used to carve sculptures
- Shows what is valued and is important to the Aztecs (leaders in war, etc.)
- Aztec artifact has survived up until now, architects/researchers can use it to figure out Aztec culture (what they valued)
